Mounting Series 400 and Series 8000For easy and safe installation, freewheelclutchesare delivered on hard papertubes. Only clutches of model FE 400are surrounded with colored rubberrings, keeping the sprags in adisengaged position, so clutches can bemounted easily. This causesthe sprags to tilt and reduces thediameter in relation to the size of theclutch frame. Now push shaft with thefreewheel-clutch in place.This installation method is only possiblewith model FE 400 Z and FE 8000.FE 400 Z / FE 8000Freewheel-clutches “FE 400 Z/Z2” and“FE 8000” can be installed for left or rightengagement.
