On top of technologywith RFIDAlong with the conventional manualmobile shelving system, SSI Schaefernow presents the electric model. Comparedwith the manual version, theelectric solution is equipped with anindividual motor drive. This assuresfast, safe and labour-saving operation,even at loads of up to 2 x 8 tonnes.The innovation: control and commandorders for moving the single shelvesare transmitted via RFID technology!The system is unlocked by scanningthe chipcard at the control panel. Accesslight barriers and optional safetyaccess barriers at foot level providethe highest safety. The aisles automaticallymove in the right directionwith a single tap on the control panel.The operator then removes or places thegoods from or on the shelf. The aisle then needsto be unlocked again following each operation. Unauthorisedaccess to the system is prevented through the useof RFID.InbriefIntercept® containerswith in-mould foilIt is now well-known that containerswith INTERCEPT® technology protectgoods against corrosion during transport,shipment and storage under extremeconditions. It also includes ESDprotection as required.What is new is that SSI Schaefer is nowoffering containers with in-mould film ateven lower prices. In the injection mouldingprocess, the containers are mouldedwith INTERCEPT® films. This way, the filmis permanently fixed to the base and thelengthwise walls. The efficacy of theINTERCEPT® function remains unchangedwith this process.The result is proven effectiveness evenat high loads and in extreme usage andstorage conditions. Protection under allclimatic conditions and environmentalinfluences – even at temperatures of -35to +80°C.
