10.2 Return to Material Authorization (RMA) Procedure<br />
Prior to requesting an RMA, it is requested that troubleshooting is per<strong>for</strong>med as per section 10.1.<br />
Following the troubleshooting, contact <strong>Energate</strong> Support as per section 13.<br />
Please provide:<br />
- Device Type (load switch, Auxiliary Switch, thermostat)<br />
- Device Model number (LC301, AS10, Z100 Pioneer 1)<br />
- Serial number<br />
- Date and description of the problem experienced<br />
- List of tests and troubleshooting per<strong>for</strong>med along with results found<br />
- If it is a communication problem, MAC address and Install Code (from Link Info<br />
screen)<br />
- A contact name and number<br />
<strong>Energate</strong> Support will then contact the <strong>Energate</strong> RMA department who will assign an RMA<br />
number.<br />
Record the RMA number and send the RMA'd equipment back to:<br />

Once received, a root cause analysis will be per<strong>for</strong>med on the equipment and corrective action<br />
will be undertaken if a problem is found.<br />
The RMA department will then provide an estimated time <strong>for</strong> completing the repairs and/or<br />
replacing the RMA'd equipment.<br />
