Page 18To Enroll Call: 405.382.9246Learn to SwimPSNC 1935Learn to Swim <strong>Program</strong><strong>Seminole</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>College</strong> is proud to partner with theAmerican Red Cross to offer its “Learn to Swim <strong>Program</strong>.”The goal of the Red Cross program is to help people learnto be safe, competent, c<strong>on</strong>fident swimmers. We want yourchild to be comfortable-first just being in the water, thenbeing under water, then moving through the water andfinally moving <strong>on</strong> top of the water with rhythmicbreathing.Our program features three levels of American Red CrossLearn to Swim instructi<strong>on</strong> to help swimmers of all agesand abilities develop their swimming and water safetyskills. It is designed to provide students a positive learningexperience in a logical progressi<strong>on</strong>, with a primaryobjective of teaching students to besafe in and around the water.General Informati<strong>on</strong>Students who are not at least3’6” tall will require an adult toaccompany them in the pool for all less<strong>on</strong>sAll students will need to either open their eyes underwater or bring goggles for each less<strong>on</strong>. No swimmasks that cover the nose are allowed.Only students enrolled in the class will bepermitted in the pool.
