6. Cycling in the reserve <strong>is</strong> not meant for le<strong>is</strong>ure. Individual permit holdersplease reg<strong>is</strong>ter their bikes with <strong>WWF</strong> for cycling in the reserve (parking spacefor you bike <strong>is</strong> provided in the car park but at your own r<strong>is</strong>k); and you <strong>area</strong>dv<strong>is</strong>ed to observe safety precautions at all time when cycling in the reserve.7. Never use flash when taking photographs;8. V<strong>is</strong>itors should wear clothes in plain colour;9. Mobile phone should be switched to quiet mode;10. Smoking <strong>is</strong> prohibited in the <strong>Reserve</strong>;11. No pet should be brought into the <strong>Reserve</strong>. For dogs, only trained ass<strong>is</strong>tancedogs are allowed (i.e. Guide Dogs);12. Do not d<strong>is</strong>turb or take away ANYTHING including plant, animal or other lifeform from the <strong>Reserve</strong>;13. Vehicles entering the <strong>Reserve</strong> must hold a valid ‘Closed Road Permit’ <strong>is</strong>suedby the Hong Kong <strong>Po</strong>lice Force. Vehicles should only enter the <strong>Reserve</strong> forofficial work duty (i.e. research) as per the reason(s) for <strong>is</strong>suance. Inside the<strong>Reserve</strong>, please do not leave your engine idling.Free parking <strong>is</strong> available at the <strong>Mai</strong> <strong>Po</strong> V<strong>is</strong>itor Centre for private cars and coaches ofthose people v<strong>is</strong>iting the <strong>Reserve</strong>, although you are encouraged to v<strong>is</strong>it us by publictransport or bicycle where possible. If you do arrive by vehicle please help protect theenvironment and reduce no<strong>is</strong>e by switching off your engine.After your v<strong>is</strong>it, please help other v<strong>is</strong>itors by writing your wildlife sightings on the chalkrecord board in the Car Park. Also if you happen to see any sick or injured wildlife,please report their location to <strong>WWF</strong> staff at the reception of the V<strong>is</strong>itor Center (or theEducation Centre inside the <strong>Reserve</strong>).<strong>WWF</strong> offers guided v<strong>is</strong>it tour to the <strong>Reserve</strong> on every Saturday, Sunday and PublicHoliday (Except Chinese New Year).
