Miss Pride
Dear Miss Pride,
I am a part of two clubs that meet on the same day. I love them both, and I want to be active in extra
curricular activities, but I’m having a really hard time balancing the two. I feel bad for giving up either of the
clubs, but I don’t know how to distribute my time fairly! Any advice?
Sincerely,
Involved Isabella
Dear Involved,
It’s great that you want to be involved in clubs, but make sure you prioritize your time well. If you hold
a leadership in one of these clubs, then that club should be your main priority. If you’re not, talk to your club
moderators. If meetings go for an hour after school, spend a half hour at each club. If you let your moderators
know ahead of time, then it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. And make sure you have time to do homework,
too! Being in clubs is great, but don’t let too much involvement distract you from getting your homework
done!
Sincerely,
Miss Pride
