Projects Approved in <strong>2011</strong><br />
In <strong>2011</strong>, a total of 18 OHQs were<br />
approved with investments of RM163<br />
million. Of these, four were from<br />
Singapore, two each were from the<br />
uK and <strong>Malaysia</strong>, one each from<br />
the Netherlands, Australia, Norway,<br />
Luxembourg, France, Japan and<br />
Bermuda. The remaining two were<br />
joint-venture projects of which one<br />
was between Hong Kong and <strong>Malaysia</strong>,<br />
and the other between Singapore and<br />
India. A total of 125 expatriate posts<br />
were approved for these OHQs and<br />
571 employment opportunities will<br />
be created for <strong>Malaysia</strong>ns.<br />

of equipment and services for<br />
marine and subsea operations. The<br />
OHQ in <strong>Malaysia</strong> will undertake<br />
management and administration,<br />
planning and coordination,<br />
technical support and maintenance<br />
as well as marketing control and<br />
promotional planning for their<br />
related companies in Australia,<br />
Indonesia and <strong>Malaysia</strong>;
