NOTE If you are using Corel Linux, click the Main Menu button, point
to Applications, point to Network, and then click Dial-Up, which
starts KPPP.
5. Click Setup. You will see the KPPP (Dial-Up) Configuration
dialog box.
6. In the KPPP (Dial-Up) Configuration dialog box,
click the Modem tab.
7. Click Query Modem, as shown in Figure 1.2.
Linux now tests the communication setup with the
modem in several different ways. If you see a series
of “Modem Query Results,” you are ready to set
up a connection to the Internet. Otherwise, read
