• Quit on Disconnect. Closes KPPP when you disconnect<br />

from the Inter<strong>net</strong>. If you disable this option,<br />

KPPP stays on-screen after you log off.<br />

• Minimize Window on Connect. Minimizes the KPPP<br />

window when your KPPP connection is established.<br />

Configuring Your Inter<strong>net</strong> Account<br />

In this section, you will make use of the information you<br />

requested from your Inter<strong>net</strong> service provider (ISP). Click<br />

the KPPP Accounts tab, as shown in Figure 1.5, and then<br />

click New. You will see a series of different tabs to configure<br />

the actual connection. To get started, click the Dial<br />

tab. You will see the Dial options. Table 1.1 discusses the<br />

various options and tells you the information you need to<br />

supply.
