Here are a few examples of wonderful in-kind donations we recently received from localorganizations, businesses and schools.Park Avenue Christian Church Day School Donates Books to Children in Early Childhood CenterBoard Member Kathy Angele helped to organize a wonderful book drive at the Park Avenue ChristianChurch Day School for the 141 low-income children in our Early Childhood Center. Kathy and her book fairco-chairs greeted and read to children in our Dolphin Classroom and hand-delivered their holiday giftson December 15th.Kathy Angele, Board Member, distributes books to the Dolphin ClassroomJPMorgan Chase Donates Office SuppliesWe received a wonderful, large donation of office supplies from JPMorgan Chase in November includingpaper, printer cartridges, binders, books and other office supplies — all items we would otherwise haveneeded to purchase ourselves.Hot & Tasty Bagel DonationHot & Tasty, a bagel shop on 2nd Avenue at 69th Street, donates bagels every Friday to our Homelessand Housing Programs. Our Homeless Outreach team, working on the street from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.daily, distributes bagels to our hungry clients living on the street; we also send bagels to Casa Mutua,our supportive housing residence for 54 formerly homeless adults living with mental illness onEast 102nd Street.We are so thankful for these partnerships!
