The performance data of the new<br />
PoWERTRAB <strong>Type</strong> 1 <strong>arrester</strong> is<br />
impressive. The enormous rated voltage<br />
of 800V AC is especially interesting for<br />
applications with 690 V iT networks,<br />
among others. The PoWERTRAB can<br />
withstand temporary voltage peaks of up<br />
to 1,960 V for several hundred milliseconds<br />
without stress.<br />
At home in rough environments<br />
The robust housing design of the<br />
PoWERTRAB already shows its<br />
applicability in extreme environments at<br />
first sight.<br />
According to EN 60068, it is shock-tested<br />
up to 25 g and vibration-tested up to 5 g.<br />
Long-lasting and reliable<br />
The high power reserves as well as the<br />
extremely robust setup provide for a long<br />
service life and are synonymous for the<br />
availability of your system.<br />

The PWT <strong>arrester</strong> possesses a multilevel<br />
signaling system in case of overload.<br />
A pre-damage is signaled via the<br />
status LED as well as reported via the<br />
first switching contact of the remote<br />
indication connection to the system<br />
controller. As the PWT still possesses<br />
the full protective power in this status,<br />
a replacement is only required during<br />
the next routine maintenance. in case<br />
of further overload events, the PWT<br />
will send this status via the second<br />
remote indication contact. in this case,<br />
a replacement should take place at short<br />
notice in order not to put the lightning<br />
protection of the system at risk.<br />
