SimonsVoss meets important
standards. In April 2003,
SimonsVoss was certifi ed by TÜV
for the fi rst time in accordance
with ISO 9001. The TÜV certifi cation
confi rmed SimonsVoss’
compliance with the regulations
and conduct required for consistent
quality in all areas of the
company, from development to
production. In 2004 SimonsVoss
presented two global innovations:
the WaveNet radio network and the
wireless PinCode keypad 3068.
Branches were opened in Great
Britain and in the Netherlands.
Optimizing what is good and
developing new products. In
January 2006 was the founding of
our subsidiary in the US, which
undertakes both product
development work for the North
American market and system
sales in the NAFTA region.
In January 2007 the fourth
generation of electronic locking
cylinders was successfully
launched, with yet more attractive
features, and the wireless
biometric wall reader Q3008 was
also presented. In September
2007 the sales network was
expanded with the establishment
of another sales offi ce in Belgium.
Groundbreaking security in
a networked world. In 2008
SimonsVoss added to its range
of networking products a
powerful virtual network solution.
This made SimonsVoss the only
manufacturer capable of offering
various networking options and
guaranteeing investment security
for customers for future system
expansions.
In 2008 saw the launch of 3061 – Network
Inside, the fi rst locking cylinder
which can be directly networked. For
the fi rst time, SimonsVoss was able
to quickly and very cheaply fi t
networked locking and access
control systems.
SimonsVoss Technologies AG is
the world’s leading supplier on the
electronic locking and access
control systems market. This was
confi rmed in December 2009 by a
report entitled “The World Market
for Electronic Physical Access
Control Equipment – 2009 Edition”
by the renowned market research
company IMS Research.
International activities were also
further intensifi ed with the
establishment of more sales
offi ces in Spain and Italy.
History
Intelligent technologies drive
expansion. In 2010 the company
launched the SmartHandle 3062,
the electronic door handle.
The regional headquarters for the
Asia Pacifi c region in Singapore,
opened in June 2010, is part of a
comprehensive strategy to focus
on international expansion and
provide optimum support to a
fast-growing Asian customer
base. SimonsVoss is leveraging
the economic upturn in Asia to
expand its presence on the Asian
market.
SimonsVoss employs more than
245 people at its headquarters
in Munich, the production site in
Petersberg and the foreign
subsidiaries.
