<strong>The</strong> S315GT-HD 'ConfortClass' model was introduced for the 1997 season as an more affordable alternative to the<br />
S315HD 'TopClass' after being exhibited at both RAI Maastrich and Mitcar, Paris in October 1996. Cost saving<br />
items such as no driver's door and commonality of parts with other members of the 'ConfortClass' and the<br />
'MultiClass' have made this a very popular coach from its inception. Despite the lower price tag, the vehicle is still<br />
finished to a high standard with air-conditioning as standard and a pleasing and spacious passenger environment.<br />
<strong>The</strong> first models were produced solely in Germany but now production of the model has commenced at Ligny-en-<br />
Barrois in the Lorraine region of France and at the Samano plant in Northern Spain which re-operned in 1998,<br />
being a site where Setras were formerly assembled under the Setra-Sedia name until around 1994. <strong>The</strong> only series<br />
not included in this list is the UK production which has VINs in the format WKK32600001015***. It is hoped to<br />
publish this list in the British Journal at a later stage.<br />
