Wehave included some of those results inthis yearly review and highlighted theprograms, members and Club alumni whoare outstanding examples of why we areable to positively change lives in very realways and with the generous support ofour volunteers and donors. The children in our community are worthyof our time, commitment and dedication. When we listen, we learn, and our kidsgrow in confidence, competence and selfesteem. With your help, we can continueto teach a generation that they are valuedand that, with our help, they can turn anynegative they are given into a positive, forthemselves and for their communities. To our stakeholders, volunteers, boardmembers, friends, collaborating partnersand donors, we offer our yearly review for2008—a profoundly successful year.Thank you for helping us make positivechange for all our children!Respectfully,Tim BlaylockChief Professional OfficerBoys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard andPort Hueneme
