Bishop McNamarafollows a block schedule with alternatingblock days of four classes meeting 84minutes each.HONORS AND ADVANCEDPLACEMENT COURSESHonors courses are offered in English,mathematics, science, foreign language,technology, social studies, and eachof the fine arts disciplines. Classroominstruction is offered in music, dance,art and theater. Students develop theirleadership skills from the early stagesof brainstorming to the final reflectionphase. These projects are as variedas restoring churches and shelters,organizing food and toiletries drivesand establishing tutoring and youthprograms.
