INDIAN SOCIETY OF PLANT GENETIC RESOURCES<br />

The Society was founded in 1987 with the following objectives:<br />

● To serve and promote the scientifi c cause and to advance academic interest in the fi eld <strong>of</strong> <strong>plant</strong> <strong>genetic</strong> <strong>resources</strong>.<br />

● To disseminate knowledge relating to various aspects on <strong>plant</strong> <strong>genetic</strong> <strong>resources</strong>.<br />

● To provide a forum for organizing symposia/conferences with a view to develop close relationship among the scientists<br />

engaged and interested in <strong>plant</strong> <strong>genetic</strong> <strong>resources</strong> activities.<br />

contribution to the journal, except for invited papers, is open to the members <strong>of</strong> the <strong>society</strong> only.<br />

Membership to the <strong>society</strong> is open to all the individuals/institutions interested in various aspects <strong>of</strong> <strong>plant</strong> <strong>genetic</strong><br />

<strong>resources</strong>. The membership fee is as follows:<br />
