DINNER AUCTION “2010 - A PERFECT TEN”The first nine years of the annual dinner auction raised over$1,200,000 for financial aid and school programs. The “2010Event – A Perfect Ten, Starting a New Decade of Excellence” wasanother success on March 20th at theCrystal Lake Holiday Inn.John ’83 and Barb (Anspaugh)’83 MiceliThe wonderful evening was a directresult of the efforts of the HonoraryChairs, Sue (Conway) ’68 and TomLow, McHenry, Marguerite (Cristy)’79 and Kurt ’79 Parker, CrystalLake, and Barb (Anspaugh) ’83 andJohn ’83 Miceli, Woodstock, andthe General Chairs Gwen and TomSalvi, Crystal Lake, and Lisa and RayScarpelli, Johnsburg. The proceeds ofover $65,000 will go toward tuitionassistance, departmentprograms and parentsupport groups.Constance Melchionna, and Elizabeth Olivera. The students whowon Best Buy cards were Casey Doherty, Elizabeth Olivera, LucasDawson, Leann Gioia, and Maria Reckamp.The dinner auction committee wishes to give a great big thank youto the volunteers at the event and to all who contributed in anyway to make the evening successful. If you don’t need the basketsyou took home, send them back in to the Development Office foruse next year.Kurt ’79 and Marguerite (Cristy) ’79 ParkerGuests enjoyed a deliciousmeal before biddingon live and silent items.Gwen Salvi drew the winningraffle tickets withthe top cash prize wonby <strong>Marian</strong> parent, CheriWaytula. Other cash winnerswere Dirk Connleyand Bill Kearley. VolunteerGina Kranenburg wonthe 50/50 and LynnRosenberger won thetennis bracelet from thedecade rosary bag sales.Tom and Sue (Conway) ’68 LowThe large crowd had lots of items to bid onLisa and Ray ScarpelliMsgr.
