Sunday Night Welcome ReceptionSunday, June 23 - Reception at 5:30pm / Dinner at 7pm, Deer Lake (rain location, Civic Center)The Welcome Reception will be held at Deer Lake this year. Deer Lake is part of BoyneMountain's property and is located across the street from the Monument Golf Course. Dinner andentertainment will be held outside where you can view the beautiful sunset over Deer Lake. Thereception is at 5:30pm, followed by dinner and entertainment. In case of bad weather, the WelcomeReception will be held in the Civic Center.The Sunday night entertainment this year is a return engagement by XCommunication. Forthose of you who were at Shanty Creek two years ago, nothing more needs to be said. For thosewho may have missed it, you should know that XCommunication features the heart poundingrhythms of such notables as Led Zeppelin and Cream, with offerings from Elvis, U2, the Beatles andothers. XCommunication features Dave Vago on vocals and Scott Vago on drums along with GlennPage on lead guitar and Dan Michael on bass. If you prefer to rent a solo kayak, the cost is $45 per person.
