Planned environmentalwater intake does not endanger the environmentand the system as a whole does not affectupstream or downstream use of the remainingavailable hydro potential of this river.The project will significantly contribute tosustainable development in Serbia and is based onrenewable energy (hydropower).In this project emission reductions will be achievedby replacing the current electric and / or heatpower produced by burning fossil fuels, electricityand / or heat from a source with zero emission.
