Planned environmentalwater intake does not endanger the environmentand the system as a whole does not affectupstream or downstream use of the remainingavailable hydro potential of this river. The project will significantly contribute tosustainable development in Serbia and is based onrenewable energy (hydropower). In this project emission reductions will be achievedby replacing the current electric and / or heatpower produced by burning fossil fuels, electricityand / or heat from a source with zero emission.

6. Current status of the project(Pre-feasibility study, feasibility study, only projectidea, preliminary design, detailed design, inconstruction, etc.).• The project will result in the transfer of moneyand modern "green" technology, direct investmentand active participation of local companies• Data project activity leads to a reduction inemissions of greenhouse gases and the emissionreductions are "additional".• The project will result in a reduced level ofemissions of CO2, SO2, NO2• The project activity will lead to energy efficiencyon the supply side of energy systems and demand.Project Idea7. Additionality (what would happen in theabsence of project activity?)8. Assessment of financing the cost ofinvestment and available funds9. Time framePlease estimate the time frame forimplementation of the proposed projectThe project is additional since it faces significantfinancial, investment and technological barriers.Given the fact that the project leads to reductionof CO2 emissions, engaging in a project that willnot result in a CER certificates is a major risk to theproject owner who is also the owner of the parcel. In the absence of project activity Serbia will missthe opportunity to improve the criteria ofsustainable development, attract foreign investors, and further develop energy efficiency andrenewable energy.IGIS IMAKO will contribute 20-40% of capital, whileforeign funds to finance the rest.Investment costs of the project are estimated ataround 700 000 Euros.2010/2011 selection of international financialinstitutions for financing the project2011 The start of the implementation2012 Completion of construction and connectionto the grid.
