compensation. <strong>AGMA</strong> and the EMPLOYER understand and agree that there areProduction Staff Members who routinely work additional hours in excess <strong>of</strong> themaximum to adequately prepare for rehearsals and performances <strong>of</strong> eachproduction. In lieu <strong>of</strong> any Overtime payments which may apply, each suchProduction Staff member shall receive a weekly Overscale Payment in addition tothe minimum weekly base salary for all rehearsal and performance weeks up toand including the week <strong>of</strong> the opening <strong>of</strong> the last show assigned to the ARTISTas follows:ARTISTSUMMER OF2008SUMMER OF2009Stage Manager(two productions)Stage Manager(one production)Stage Manager/Assistant ManagerAssistant Stage Manager(two productions)Assistant Stage Manager(one production)$100 $125$75 $100$75 $100$50 $75$50 $75(g) Rest Period - All ARTISTS, including Production Staff members shallreceive an uninterrupted rest period <strong>of</strong> not less than five (5) minutes for everysixty minutes <strong>of</strong> rehearsals. Breaks may be combined to equal fifteen (15)minutes after ninety (90) minutes <strong>of</strong> rehearsals but under no circumstances mayan ARTIST rehearse more than ninety (90) minutes without a break. For onstagerehearsals all ARTISTS, including Production Staff members shall receive anuninterrupted rest period <strong>of</strong> not less than fifteen (15) minutes for every ninety (90)minutes <strong>of</strong> such onstage rehearsal. After consultation with the Stage Director, theStage Manager will determine and announce the break for all ARTISTS.(i) Automobile Reimbursement - Except as provided for in Paragraph 17(d)and 18 (a) in the General- Section I <strong>of</strong> this Agreement, Stage Directors,Choreographers, and Production Staff members will be reimbursed by CentralCity Opera for their use <strong>of</strong> their automobiles for work related to a production atthe allowable IRS rate or the rate provided to non-bargaining unit employees <strong>of</strong>Central City Opera, whichever is higher.(m) Per Diem - Per diem payments for all Production Staff Members noted inParagraph 3 (b) <strong>of</strong> this section shall be made when the ARTIST is working for theEMPLOYER beyond a fifty-five (55) mile radius <strong>of</strong> the ARTIST’s domicile.14
