Please check our Web site.NOTE:All qualifications and degrees documented by PQP applicants must be validated by a CURRENT Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate ofQualification.Please note that if your Certificate of Qualification does not list all of your current professional qualifications, you are advised to have itbrought up to date as soon as possible. The Ontario College of Teachers makes no provision on the Certificate of Qualification for listingextra credit courses or a partially completed degree program. If you wish to have such credits considered, it will be necessary tosupplement your application with copies of official transcripts (photocopies are not acceptable). You are advised to apply early, and toforward ALL appropriate documentation so that your application may be assessed accurately, well ahead of the start of classes.Prerequisites for PQP Part 1:1. A photocopy of your current Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification showing basic qualifications in three (3) divisions(including the Intermediate basic division).2. Official university transcript(s) showing that an acceptable university degree has been conferred.3. Evidence of one of the following:a. Successful completion of an acceptable Master's or Doctorate degree.b. Two (2) Three Session Specialist or Honour Specialist Additional Qualifications.c. One (1) Three Specialist or Honour Specialist Additional Qualification and an official transcript showing successful completion of atleast half the number of courses required to qualify for an acceptable Master's degree from an accredited university. Since graduateprograms vary in course requirements and duration, a letter from the University confirming that you have successfully completed atleast half the number of courses to qualify for an acceptable Master's degree is also required.4. Evidence of at least five (5) years of successful teaching experience as certified by an appropriate Supervisory Officer on the Principal’sQualification Program Certification of Teaching Experience Form available on our Web site, http://www.oise.utoronto.ca/aq/Prerequisites for PQP Part 2:1.
