The Red River CollegeStudents’ Association Executive welcomes you tothe 2009-2010 academic year and wishes you successin your upcoming studies.It is our responsibility to pro-actively serve and protectthe interests of Red Rive College students by providingservices and programs that best meet their needs, andto deliver these programs and services in a responsible,courteous and cost effective manner.There are many services that the Students’ Associationprovides to you including the design and publication ofthe Student Day Planner, a student newspaper, “TheProjector”, convenience store services throughout thecollege via the Ox at Notre Dame, and the Mercantile atPrincess Street, as well as coordinating student socialevents such as keggers, poker tournaments, club pizzalunches, activities in the “Cave”, and the yearly ski tripheld in February.If you are an active and driven student, you may wish totake the opportunity to be involved in the Students’ Associationitself, by serving as a member of the Students’Advisory Board, applying to be an Events Coordinator, becominga Class rep, creating a student group club, volunteeringat events such as Student Orientation or StudentElections, or even running for an executive position of theStudents’ Association for next year.
