Itdescribes some of the initial treatment studies of CM usingvouchers as incentives, along with lower cost alternatives.The recently completed National Institute on Drug Abuse(NIDA) Clinical Trials Network study of this CM approachwill also be detailed. The video will depict use of CMtechniques in practice. The second half of the course reviewsaspects of behavioral therapy necessary to develop aneffective CM approach for practice.
