Bilt-Well Clos-Tite WoodCasements provide the maximum provisions forair-conditioning and also exhibit a modern appearancewith the narrow but sturdily constructedsections. The Sash and Transoms areequipped with auxiliary (double glazing) glass,which is held in the sash with thumb-releasefasteners. A moisture proof gasket is used insealing the installation of auxiliary glass to reducethe transmission of air and to provide maximuminsulation so essential for correctly air-conditionedhomes. Whenthe sash is open, sufficient space permits cleaningthe outside of the glass while standing in the room.The top of all ventilators are equipped with a springbronze metal cap covering the upper edge of the sash. Grouping a series of Biltwell sectional units of various widths into one complete cabinet is very simple.The above diagram illustrates the method. In planning the kitchen it is recommended at the outset toestablish a convenient place for the refrigerator and to measure off from !his point the cabinet spaceavailable, which will determine the width of the units to be incorporated.
