The <strong>Strategic</strong> Direction discussed below is consistent with the approachidentified in the HIS <strong>Plan</strong> and the <strong>Plan</strong>’s priorities for health information are aligned with ANDS, theHNSS, and the BPHS, EPHS and National <strong>Health</strong> Programs.This strategic direction has been developed to:Enhance the quality and appropriateness of data and information provided to MoPH policy makersand program/project managers so that it facilitates their decision makingAssist in making rational and equitable decisions on resource allocation in the health sectorIncrease transparency and accountability in the health sectorMinistry of <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Health</strong> <strong>Strategic</strong> <strong>Plan</strong>, 2011‐201534
