CLUBS (cont.)VW Men’s Golf LeagueOur numbers are growing, come join the fun.The Third Year, “2010-2011”, of the Village WalkMen’s Golf League hascommenced with playevery Thursday throughApril 28, 2011 at SpanishWells Golf and CountryClub on Bonita BeachRoad.The league has a coregroup of 36 and has beengrowing every year.Membership is availablethroughout the year. A $50enrollment fee per yearmust be paid at the VWActivity Office, MichelleKithcart, prior to play. Thefee is used to enroll youin the Florida PGA GHINsystem to establish a handicap and for administrativecosts of the league as well as socials. This is a funleague with the goals of enjoying golf with little to nopressure, the great weather, and friendships.League operation is on Thursdays from November4, 2010 to April 28, 2011, tee times are between 10am and Noon and may vary due to course specialevents. No league plays on Nov. 25th Thanksgiving,and December 23rd and 30th due to holiday travel.Members may play the course with carts whenever it isopen at leagues fees. During November and Decemberthe league fee is $35 plus tax and January through Aprilthe league fee is $57 plus tax.
