S O U T H E N D P A R T Y Kathrene Tiffany ’96 and Julia Lloyd Johannsen ’93 hosted a dinner party in the South End for alumni from the 1990s with special guest Phil Gambone (English and social studies teacher from 1977– 2004). It was a great evening of reconnecting with friends and recollecting back on favorite memories of Park. The girls (Eliza Lord, Charlotte Grossman and Annie DiAdamo — all Class of 2016), who play on the Newton 12 and Under team, were in Washington D.C. to see the sites and play in a soccer tournament. 2003 Class Representative Diana Rutherford We hear from the Steppingstone alumni newsletter that Laniesha Gray was the keynote speaker for the Steppingstone Foundation’s annual meeting in October. She is pursuing her master’s in education at Northeastern University while working at Codman Academy as an associate inclusion teacher. 2004 Class Representatives Molly Lebow Steven Fox On April 28, Michael Cox will graduate from the University of Michigan. Congratulations, Michael! 2005 36 The Park School Bulletin | Spring 2012 Class Representative Lily Bullitt Last summer, Alex Tejada was in Guatemala doing public health research. His program, funded by the National Institutes of Health and administered by the Department of Epidemiology of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health, offers qualified students research training opportunities in the biomedical and health-related sciences in developing countries. Trainees plan their research projects under supervision of a UAB faculty member and their foreign mentor and conduct their work at a collaborating research institution under supervision of the foreign mentor. He also recently won a HOPE Scholarship through the Harvard Medical School Biomedical Careers Success Program. Congratulations, Alex! 2006 Class Representative McCall Cruz 2007 Class Representative Thomas Cope Ben Schwartz Will Manes is a sophomore at the Boston University School of Management and is the vice president of marketing for his class. 2008 Class Representatives Manizeh Afridi Marielle Rabins After graduating from Phillips Academy, Kendall MacRae started at Dartmouth this past fall. She is a member of the Varsity Swimming and Diving program as a diver and was named an All-American diver last spring. Her younger sister Lilybet MacRae ’10 is also an All-American diver! 2009 Class Representatives Mercedes Garcia-Orozco Cary Williams Will Poss and Toby Porter were both chosen to play for the East in the NEPSAC East-West Boys’ Soccer All

Rebecca Lewin Scott ’89 Alumni Clambake 2011 On a perfect fall day in September, over 100 Park alumni and their families celebrated the end of summer at the Annual Park Alumni Clambake. It was one of the sunniest days for this event in many years! Many classes were represented and all 10. feasted on fresh lobster, clam chowder, and all the trimmings. Alumni enjoyed catching up with present and former faculty members including Janice Allen, Maria Fleming Alvarez ’81, Dean Conway, Greg Cope ’71, Comfort Halsey Cope, Alice Perera Lucey ’77 and Margo Smith.
