Thisvalve is normally open to permit oil and air (if present)to pass from inlet to outlet and directly back to thetank. Pressure in the spool center section is bled viaspool clearance to the no-spring end of the spool. Aspressure builds, it overcomes the spring, shifts thespool to close the inlet port and allows full pump flowto the circuit.TO SYSTEMVALVE SCHEMATICTPELECTRIC MOTOR PRIME MOVERIn this circuit, the valve is used to automatically purgethe air in the circuit.
