New distributors in Northern Germany The Parker Seal Group Europe has extended its network of distributors in Northern Germany by two proven specialists in the field of engineered products: Lippold Hydraulik & Wälzlager GmbH and Hydraulik- Pneumatik-Kontor Jade (HPKJ) GmbH. Drawing on almost 80 years of experience in the distributive trade of products requiring technical explanations, Lippold Hydraulik & Wälzlager GmbH is one of the leading technical services providers in Northern Germany. The company’s expertise ranges from supplying worldwide customers from a broad portfolio of trade products for OEM and aftermarket requirements, maintenance and repair of systems and components through to the engineering design and production of hydraulic systems. At the company’s eight locations in Hamburg, Rostock, Schwerin, 10 SealingReport · November 2011 Neubrandenburg, Waren, Stralsund, Bremen and Twist 180 employees are working in the fields of Engineering, Service and Logistics on customised project and turnkey solutions for a wide range of industrial tasks. System solutions by Lippold can be found in the fields of renewable energies, steelwater construction and in maritime applications such as ferry piers and offshore drilling platforms as well as in open-cast brown coal mining, steel mills, testing facilities for locomotives and even in the food industry. The sealing of motors and machines has been playing a fundamental role in the company’s activities ever since it was founded in 1932. The significance of sealing technology in the product portfolio is highlighted by the fact that ten employees of the Lippold Group are exclusively focused on sealing technology – from O-rings to mechanical seals – today. Since the company has been working very closely and successfully with Parker in other product segments the recent extension to Parker-Prädifa’s sealing technology products was a logical step. Hydraulik-Pneumatik-Kontor Jade (HPKJ) GmbH was founded in Wilhelmshaven in 1982 and since 2010 has been operating a branch in Bremen as well. The company, which has received numerous approval certificates and awards, employs approximateley 80 people – including many engineers and technicians – and has a production area of 2500 square metres. HPKJ has been successfully active as a systems supplier in the hydraulics and pneumatics sectors throughout Germany and in other European countries. After acquiring Kuper Gaskomponente Schweiß- und Gewindetechnik in September 2009 HPKJ GmbH has also been manufacturing an extensive range of technical products on modern CNC-machines, including high-precision turning parts for pipeline and gas systems engineering. As a full-line partner of the Parker Hannifin Corporation, the company operates a ParkerStore in Wilhelmshaven. The extensive portfolio available at the store includes spare parts, accessories and services for hydraulics and pneumatics as well as sealants and adhesives.
