They need the following: SOCKS, BATTERIES (D & AA),MOSQUITO REPELLENT. PLEASE BRING THESE SUPPLIES TO THERECTORY ATTENTION: COLLEEN CASE OR REGINA. These supplies will bepacked and sent via the USAF Aux Transport EVERY Tuesday to the people of NewOrleans and the surrounding area. Just one year ago our own HSYG went to NewOrleans to work and rebuild the hopes of many, so we feel a deep connection to theirplight. We areexpecting to see a stronger number of participating families fromReligious Education. The MANNA program has a Walk-inService on Wednesday evenings that should be very convenientfor R.E. parents who would like to make purchases after classesare dismissed. It should also be noted that participating familiesfrom the grade school and the R.E. program have already earnedan outstanding $28,000 in earned tuition/fees credit for the currentschool year. This is quite a savings for so early in the schoolyear.
