ARTICLE XVII: STATISTICS
The Board shall make available to the authorized representative of the
OECTA Durham Secondary Unit:
(i) a statement of the current published operating budget;
(ii) a mailing list of all secondary teachers employed by the Board

(iii) a list of new teachers hired by the Board and their placement
(monthly);
(iv) a list of all terminations of secondary teachers (monthly);
(v) a scattergram of teacher placement on the salary grid (October

15 );
(vi)

a current list of teachers on Letters of Permission (October 15 );
(vii) any other person acting in the role of a teacher not a member of
the Ontario College of Teachers or on a Letter of Permission

(October 15 );
(viii) cost breakdown for employee benefits pursuant to Article VII.
ARTICLE XVIII: TEACHER PERSONNEL FILE
A teacher shall have access during normal business hours to her/his
personnel file at the Catholic Education Centre upon prior written request
to the Superintendent of Education – Human Resources and in the
presence of a Supervisory Officer or person designated by the Director
of Education. The teacher may request copies of any document
contained in the file.
A teacher who questions the accuracy or completeness of information in
his or her personnel file may provide to the Board, in writing, a rebuttal
or explanatory letter that will be date stamped and placed in the file upon
request.
Where the Board exercises its discretion to amend information in a
teacher’s personnel file upon receipt of, and in response to the
submissions as set out above, the Board shall provide to the teacher a
copy of the amended information.
Where a teacher gives written authorization to a person acting on behalf
of the teacher, to access the teacher’s personnel file, the Board shall
provide such access.
