42 Expand and systematise regular community consultation There is a definite need being addressed by the programme in the Nyanga community, however a more systematic and regularised system for community engagement – to inform design and evolving of the programme – needs to be established promptly. Many of the community members and parents interviewed did not have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the programme, although they did express that both the organisation, Etafeni, and the programme were acceptable in the community and seemed to be making a positive difference in the lives of the youth.
