Individualmust also hold a valid <strong>Ohio</strong> driver's license.(2) Crimson/Yellow - completion ofOHMR 31B10 requirements as specified in SOP204.00 through attendance at an OHMR 31Bschool prior to 01 October 2010. It will also beawarded going forward from 01 October 2010for completion of OHMR 38C10 <strong>Military</strong>Civil Support Specialist. Completion of BELT isalso required unless individual has completedsuch training during prior service andrequirement has been waived in accordancewith OHMR policy. Individual must also hold avalid <strong>Ohio</strong> driver's license.b. Documentation of the completion ofthe training and eligibility requirements specifiedabove which is filed in the <strong>Military</strong> PersonnelRecords Jacket (MPRJ) or Individual TrainingRecord Jacket (ITRJ) constitutes authority towear the appropriate cord.c. Shoulder cords are readily availableon the market through various uniform andmilitary outfitters. Individuals will acquire cordsat their own expense.5-2. QRST (Quick Response Security TrainingTeam) tab. This tab will be awarded to personsmeeting the requirements of OHMR SOP 405.00or its successor. It will be embroidered in thetraditional military police colors; the backgroundwill be green with the lettering and border goldenyellow. Lettering will read QRST TEAM. Thisaward is only authorized for persons whocompleted training as stated above prior to 01October 2010. (see Figure 2).Figure 2.5-3. Berets.a. Although the wear of berets (eitherdark blue or olive drab only) as an award hasbeen permitted as a matter of practice in thepast and officially under OHMR Policy 98-02since 10 Oct 98, there is currently no Brigadewidestandard of criteria for earning or wearingof the beret. Until such a standard is devised,members of the OHMR will not wear any beretwith the OHMR uniform.b. The wear with the OHMR uniform ofany beret awarded while serving in the U.S.Armed Forces, or any other organization, isprohibited.5-4. Letters of Commendation/Achievement.Local commanders and Chief of Staff sectionsmay, and are encouraged to, recognizeindividual acts not meriting a decoration or anaward through the issuance, publication andpresentation of appropriate Letters ofCommendation or Achievement over thepersonal signature of the Commander or Chiefof Staff. The original will be given to theindividual, one copy will be forwarded toHQOHMR, and one copy will be placed in theindividual’s personnel records jacket.5-5. Certificates of Appreciation. (<strong>Military</strong>) AnOHMR Certificate of Appreciation has beenestablished to recognize individual acts notwarranting decorations or awards or to expressappreciation to individuals or organizations foroutstanding services performed. Certificates willnormally be signed by the Commander or Chiefof Staff of local OHMR units and will be includedas an enclosure to the correspondencedescribed in Paragraph 5-4 above.5-6. OHMR Golden Crest Award. (Civilian)a. May be awarded to any organizationand/or first-line supervisor who hasdemonstrated exceptional support of the OHMRmember on their employment in connection withthe OHMR Employers Support Program.b. Where first-line supervisors do notmeet all the prerequisites enumerated above, aCertificate of Appreciation may be awarded inlieu thereof for this recognition of the faithful andcooperation in the release of employees forOHMR duty and/or training. c. The OHMRGolden Crest Award and the Certificate ofAppreciation will be signed by the Commander,OHMR.d. The presentation will be made by theCommander, OHMR.5-7. Academy Instructor Badge.a. The OHMR Academy InstructorBadge (AIB) is authorized for wear by individualswho are assigned to the Academy as eitherpermanent staff or on a temporary assignmentfor two years as an instructor.b. Individuals must have completedPrimary Leadership Development Course as anenlisted/NCO or Basic Officers Course as anOfficer and must have completed Small GroupInstructors Training Course.c. After completion of a 24 monthcontinuous (no break in service) dutyassignment as an instructor at the Academy, thebadge will become authorized for permanentwear on a soldiers uniform.d. The AIB is to be worn on the rightbreast pocket of the class A, B, and C uniforms.A bright brass pin on metal award will be wornon the class A and B uniforms and a subduedcloth patch will be worn on the class C uniform.The badge will be 2-3/4 inches wide by 2-1/2inches tall.
