PROGRAM AND BUSINESS DOCKETMission and Volunteering OpportunitiesPutting Prayers into Action: Disciples Serve in OrlandoTake time during your Assembly experience to share the love of Jesus in and around the Orlandoarea. Join sister and brother Disciples as we feed the hungry, clothe the naked, provide shelter for ourneighbors, and listen to what God is saying to us as we serve together.Service at the Convention CenterA variety of opportunities will be in place for serving without leaving the Convention Center. A blooddrive will be set up in the Convention Center. Items for various kits and collections can be dropped offinside the center. Youth will have the opportunity to participate in a special prayer wall.Service around OrlandoOpportunities for serving are available on Monday and Tuesday, July 15 and 16, in themorning. Disciples will engage with local organizations including Second Harvest, United GlobalOutreach, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Orlando Health and Rehab, and O.U.R. Mission. Advanceregistration for these opportunities is required in order to coordinate transportation, which will beprovided.ASSEMBLY INFOPre-Assembly Missions EventFrom July 10-13, Disciples of all ages will begin serving throughout the Orlando area.Local mission partners include many of the organizations listed above, as well as Coalition for theHomeless, Citrus Gardens, and Freedom Ride.
