On Monday, September 14, Thomas More College will host the 15th
Annual Bensman Golf Classic at Summit Hills Country Club. Proceeds
from this event benefit the Bensman Memorial Scholarship Fund, which
has raised over $850,000. This outing is named
after the late Dr. Charles Bensman, President of
Thomas More College from 1986 to 1992, who
put forth tireless efforts to provide scholarships
for worthy students.

Bishop Hughes Awards Dinner
On Thursday, October 15, Thomas More College will host the 14th
Annual Bishop Hughes Awards Dinner, which will honor two leaders
in the community who have made significant contributions to Catholic
higher education. The 2009 recipients are Edwin T. (Ted) Robinson and
Matth. Toebben.
The annual event was established in 1996, the
75th anniversary of Thomas More College, in honor
of Bishop William A. Hughes, former Chancellor of
the College, and retired Bishop of the Diocese of
Covington, whose love for the College and Catholic
higher education was evident at all times.
The dinner will take place at Drees Pavilion
in Devou Park at 6:00 p.m. If you are interested in
