Magnicator ® II Point Level Switch • Model SAS-16 SwitchPrinciple of OperationThe switch mechanism is based on a unique JERGUSONthree-dimensional magnet design where the snap actionis accomplished by the utilization of magnetic repulsion. The magnet mounted in the float causes the secondarymagnet to rotate as it passes up and down. The switchmagnet is repelled by the secondary and snaps to theopposite side. This causes the cradle to pivot, moving thepush rod which operates the switch contacts. The result is positive snap action interlock switching –no springs...no cams...no problems.Model SAS-16 SpecificationMaximum Current: 10 amps @ 300 VAC10 amps @ 240 VDCContacts:SPDTOrdering InformationPart # Description ApprovalsA25669A26044SAS-16 Switch, Aluminum Housing,Flying LeadsSAS-16 Switch, Aluminum Housing, with Terminal Block EnclosureS-22863 Spare Terminal Block EnclosureUL/CUL Class I, Div 1,Groups A, B, C, DSwitch: UL/CULTB Enclosure: FM/CFM Class I, Div 1,Groups B, C, DFM/CFM Class I, Div 1,Groups B, C, DA25669-CE SAS-16 Switch, AR Housing, Flying Leads ATEX II 2 G Ex d IIC T5A26044-CESAS-16 Switch, AR Housing, withTerminal Block EnclosureATEX II 2 G Ex d IIC T5A26617-CESAS-16 Switch, AR Housing, FlyingLeads, Gold ContactsATEX II 2 G Ex d IIC T5A25669-TSA6-16 Switch, 316/316L SS Housing,Flying LeadsUL/CUL Class I, Div 1,Groups A, B, C, D16633 Foltz Parkway • Strongsville, OH 44149 USATelephone: (440) 572-1500 • Fax: (440) 238-8828sales@clark-reliance.com • www.clark-reliance.com
