He came back a short time later with a broken beer bottle <strong>and</strong> stabbed the man in theface, head, <strong>and</strong> arms. The victim, 39, wasnot alert, according to police, <strong>and</strong> only responded to questions when the police officers spoke loudlyor shook him. The information that the authorities managed to gather was that the man wasattacked <strong>and</strong> kicked in the head by three youths, but he could not recall what the boys looked like orwhere the attack happened.
