Born in Toledo, George attended Central CatholicHigh School and has maintained strong ties to the region. The HearstFoundations are national philanthropic resources for organizationsand institutions working in the fields of education, health, culture andsocial service. The goal of the foundations is to ensure that people ofall backgrounds have the opportunity to build healthy, productive andinspiring lives.A $50,000 technology grant from the Stranahan Foundation supportsthe purchase of 2 printers and 48 laptops for students to borrow from theWIN Center, <strong>Lourdes</strong>’ main computer center. The funding allows <strong>Lourdes</strong> toexpand the WIN Center reach and offerings.The establishment of the Irene Toth KinseyEndowed Scholarship benefits singlemothers.
