<strong>Parks</strong> <strong>Conservancy</strong> Management TeamGreg Moore, President and CEOGreg Moore has more than 30 years of experience with national parks, visitorexperiences, national landmark sites, public/private partnerships, nonprofitmanagement and operations, and philanthropy. As head of the <strong>Parks</strong> <strong>Conservancy</strong>since 1985, he has created one of the most effective nonprofit organizationssupporting any national park in the country. Under his direction, the <strong>Parks</strong><strong>Conservancy</strong> has provided more than $250 million in support to the <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Gate</strong><strong>National</strong> <strong>Parks</strong>. Greg has been instrumental in the conversion of historic militaryposts into vibrant national parklands, restoration of Crissy Field, and programs toengage diverse communities in park stewardship and education. He maintainsstrong working relationships with government and community representatives andhas developed national and international networks in national park and protectedarea management and interpretation.Doug Overman, Executive Vice President, Government and Community RelationsDoug Overman has more than two decades of senior management experience,with an emphasis on public-private partnerships, government and communityrelations, fundraising and education. He currently manages relationships withelected officials, agency staff and community organizations; leads strategic planninginitiatives; and directs programs focused on volunteerism, environmental educationand youth leadership development. He co-directs the <strong>Parks</strong> <strong>Conservancy</strong>’s <strong>Presidio</strong>capital campaign and directed foundation, government and corporate grantdevelopment for the Crissy Field restoration. At City Year, in Boston, he directedcorporate sponsorship programs for this leading youth service organization.Nicolas Elsishans, Executive Vice President and COONicolas Elsishans has over 20 years of experience in senior leadership, spanninga wide range of not-for-profit medical, public service and arts organizations inthe Bay Area. He oversees all business, financial and operations areas for the<strong>Conservancy</strong> with its $50 million per year budget. As COO, he has streamlined andexpanded a profitable, successful, and productive relationship with the <strong>National</strong>Park Service and the <strong>Presidio</strong> <strong>Trust</strong>. In addition to these partner relationships,Nicolas led the <strong>Conservancy</strong> in developing corporate sponsorships which supportedthe development and execution of the <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Gate</strong> Bridge 75th AnniversaryCelebration as well as the revitalization and improvement of the <strong>Golden</strong> <strong>Gate</strong> Bridgevisitor services and amenities.44
