What’s the differencebetween credit and placement?• Some colleges and universities award ―credit‖for qualifying scores on AP exams. Studentsmay actually earn credit hours toward theircollege degrees.• Others award ―advanced placement.‖Students may skip introductory courses, enterhigher-level classes, and/or fulfill generaleducation requirements.
Who should take APcourses and exams?Battlefield High School follows the APProgram’s official policy for AP enrollment,which indicates that all students who arewilling to accept the challenge of a rigorousacademic curriculum should be consideredfor admission to AP courses.We follow that same policy for enrollmentin Pre-AP courses.
