They have no money tobuy food, no access to needed healthcare or modernconveniences of any kind. They live in homes withdirt floors, tin roofs and sheets for front doors, neverknowing what it’s like to live any other way.A road runs through the middle of the dump wheredrug deals and other crimes take place, as might be expectedin any area dealing with such poverty and need.Many living here have never heard the name of Jesus.They do not know of His everlasting love for them.God sent His Son to die for them, and to set themfree from their captivity to poverty, drugs, disease…orwhatever the devil uses to hold them down.In April 2009 the <strong>Oral</strong> <strong>Roberts</strong> <strong>Ministries</strong> in conjunctionwith Hunger Needs A Voice ® , will provide a spiritual,medical, and food outreach to the people of Managua,including the precious people that live in the dump.On a recent trip to several Central American countries,Richard <strong>Roberts</strong> and his team met with Nicaragua’sPresident Daniel Ortega. Appreciative of thehelp the <strong>Oral</strong> <strong>Roberts</strong> <strong>Ministries</strong> offers his country,President Ortega welcomed Richard and looks forwardto attending Richard’s Miracle Healing Rallywith his wife. As part of the Healing Rally, Richardwill bring in a medical team to treat people’s physicalneeds—which includes providing one million healthy,nutritious meals for hungry children.In recent weeks, Hunger Needs A Voice ® has helpedprovide:• 285,000 nutritious meals to the hungry in Nicaragua• 285,000 nutritious meals to the needy in HaitiApproximately 30 children live in this roach-infested tworoomorphanage, run by two nuns who live with the childrenand show them God’s love every day. But with no money tobuy what is needed, there’s never enough food to go around,filthy diapers must be washed by hand, and cleaning/disinfectingsupplies of all kinds are desperately needed.Adrian and a medical doctor from the HNAV team prayed for this littleorphaned boy who was critically ill with a very high fever. Orphanageworkers do what they can, but they are severely understaffed andneed our help.In this orphanage that Jordan and Adrian visited, there is nomoney to purchase even basic needs, such as sheets andbedding for the children’s cribs.
