Frons convex, anteriormarg<strong>in</strong> V-shaped, reach<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>in</strong>ferior part of clypeus; punctures umbilicate with close<strong>in</strong>terstices. Antennae not reach<strong>in</strong>g for about 1.5 antennomere the apices of posterior angles ofpronotum, moderately serrate from fourth antennomere; second and third antennomeressubequal <strong>in</strong> length, the second more cyl<strong>in</strong>drical and with slightly larger diameter; second andthird, taken together, notably longer than fourth; fourth to tenth triangular, a little longer thanbroad; last antennomere longer than penultimate, ellipsoidal. Pronotum 1.1 times wider thanlong, widest at middle and at h<strong>in</strong>d angles; very convex on the disk, abruptly slop<strong>in</strong>g at sides andbase, with a vestige of narrow, smooth midlongitud<strong>in</strong>al l<strong>in</strong>e; sides moderately arcuate, stronglynarrow<strong>in</strong>g at anterior third, slightly s<strong>in</strong>ate before posterior angles, the latter long, rather acuteand slightly divergent at apex; car<strong>in</strong>a depart<strong>in</strong>g from the apices of angles, runn<strong>in</strong>g straightly fortwo-third of pronotal length and dist<strong>in</strong>ct <strong>in</strong> dorsal view; punctation rather variable, on the diskwith deep, simple to vaguely umbilicate punctures, <strong>in</strong>terspaces on average equal to their owndiameters, sparser at base, denser, clearly umbilicate and nearly contiguous at anterior marg<strong>in</strong>and sides. Scutellum tongue-shaped, flat, sparsely punctured. Elytra as broad as pronotum atbase, convex; widest at middle; striae well marked and punctured; <strong>in</strong>terstraie flat to subconvex,f<strong>in</strong>ely punctured. Fourth tarsomere deeply furrowed, a little longer than wide. Propleura withelongate and narrow, gradually enlarged from middle to base, alutaceous area at sides.
