Creuzburg Sawmill, the largest sawmill of the Pollmeier Group,
becomes the largest european hardwood sawmill with a total
cutting capacity of 500,000m³ round timber.
Construction of global sales network
In addition to the headquarter in Creuzburg, sales offices are
established in Poland and the United States.
Investment in Creuzburg production facilities
Additional drying kilns are built at the Creuzburg site. The total
number of drying kilns increases to more than 70 with a drying
volume of 200m³ each.

We started out as a solid wood processor, and still process our own timber. Our daily contact with wood enables
us to understand our clients’ problems. Whether the challenge is to prevent wood from drying out, to
achieve consistency in colour or to optimise cutting: Our products and services are solutions for solid
