PG200 - 250 - 270WIDEA FERRARIFront HydrostaticLawnmowerThe PG rangeThe PG range comes in a wide variety of configurations: petrolor diesel (20HP, 25HP or 27HP), 2 or 4 Wheel Drive, and witheither low or high dumping.Several attachments can also be fitted to the PG range whichincrease the flexibility of the machines.Due to the wide choice of versions and attachments, PG machinesare able to provide solutions to the most varied operational needsand allow professional landscapers to be immediately productive.A true multi-purpose performer.PG front-mounted mowers are designed for the cutting andsimultaneous collection of grass. Because of this, the collectionsystem is built into the machine, with the steel blower and thecollection tube located inside the traction unit.This solution offers multiple advantages:– since there is no external collection tube the machine iscompact, is better balanced and has a lower centre of gravity.As well as providing increased manoeuvrability, the lack of anexternal tube also allows the operator to trim edges etc... usingboth sides of the deck and ensures the machine can be used innarrow or confined spaces;– collection is more effective because the cut grass travels fora shorter distance and there is no frictional loss in the collectionducting. This guarantees that no grass clippings are left on theground and prevents clogging of the blower and collection tube;the machine is multi-purpose, because the blower and the hopperare always available to be used with other attachments.EnginesA wide choice of high performance and reliable engines areavailable.All engines, both petrol and diesel, are 3-cylinder liquid-cooledand are installed lengthwise in the rear of the traction unit.The radiator vent blows towards the rear of the machines. Thisallows the operator to be located away from heat and keeps theradiator clean for longer periods.

Transmission and drivePG machines are equipped with hydrostatic transmission, withthe pedal feed allowing the operator to vary speed from 0 to 14Km/h (4WD version).In difficult conditions (uneven ground, slopes or poor traction)the differential can be locked to ensure the same drive on bothfront wheels, thus improving the control of the machine.The hydraulic steering acts on the rear wheels and ensuresprecise and rapid changes of direction, while simultaneouslyreducing the operator effort required.PG machines come in a dual tail wheels (3-wheel) version foran extremely small turning radius and great agility, and in a 4-wheel version with a rear floating axle. This version ensures areduced turning radius and provides stability and safety especiallywhen the operators drives down, up or across slopes.All 4 WD models adopt the patented HTC TM (Hydrostatic TractionControl) system which provides significant advantages:- It intelligently varies the traction supplied to each rear wheelsto prevent them from damaging the turf during turning operations;- It ensures that traction is still supplied all four wheels, evenduring turning operations. This is a major safety advantage overother solutions on the market which actually disable the 4WDcapability when the operator initiates a turn.SafetyPG machines have been designed and manufactured incompliance with the strictest safety directives of theEuropean Union and other International Standards bodies.All PGs may be fitted with a protection structure (ROPS) toensure the operator’s safety should the machine overturn.The ROPS has passed all tests required by OECD code 7 andis certified by the University of Bologna.The protection structure is provided with roof for protectionagainst sun and rain.Large front lights allow for safe operation even in situations withreduced visibility. Therefore the machines are productivethroughout the day.The low barycentre and the proper distribution of weights on theaxles also offer great stability to the machine.Road use approval4-wheels diesel PG models supplied with a «kit for road useapproval» (front and rear lights, indicators, flashing beacon, horn,etc.) can be used on roads.Depending on the approval received, it is possible to drive onroads either with the mower, or with the equipment stated in thevehicle registration document or with an empty or full hopper.

RDriver’s seatThe control and indicator dashboard is located directly in frontof the operator. This ergonomic solution provides for easieruse and more control of the mower.A digital display provides information on the general operationof the machine (hour meter, engine water temperature, availablefuel etc...). It also acts as a diagnostic fault-finder should anyproblems occur.The seat can be adjusted to fit the height and weight of anyoperator. CuttingAll cutting equipment and attachments are mounted at the frontof the machine.This allows cutting before compaction of the grass, improvingthe quality of the cut and providing better visibility for the operator.This solution also allows for cutting under bushes and makeswork around trees and trimming along walls etc... easier.Cutting decks are based on a disc system with double articulatedblades (except 150 SM deck).This offers two main advantages:- the articulated blades absorb shocks and helps protect thetransmission against damage from any debris left in the grass;- the double twin blades prevent the build-up of grass clippingsunder the top of the deck chamber, ensuring consistent cutquality and reducing the level of deck maintenance.Hydraulic controlsPG machines are fitted with a hydraulic front lift for decks andattachments.This enables the machines to mount kerbs and other obstacles.It also allows for easier access for maintenance.The installation of all the attachments is quick and can beperformed without using any tools.Emptying the hopper is performed via dual hydrauliccylinders, which make dumping a fast and easy operation.HopperThe large 600-litre hopper is manufactured using a very strong,shock-resistant material.It is fitted with a filter, baffle and a warning buzzer that signalswhen the hopper is full.The filter is easily removable for easy cleaning; it is a steel meshthat prevents grass from escaping, yet it ensures positive airflow ensuring that the hopper is filled to capacity. The audiblewarning advises the operator to disconnect the PTO (PowerTake Off ) when the hopper is full, thus preventing the obstructionor clogging of the collection tube.The baffle inside the hopper is covered with a metal plate thatprevents abrasion.The anti-shock external frame is made of steel tubular andprotects the hopper and fairings from the impacts that frequentlyoccur when working in confined spaces or close to obstacles.High dumping lift4-wheel PG models can be fitted with a lift elevator.By means of a hydraulic operation parallelogram system, thehopper can be lifted up to 1,90 metres to dump the grass directlyinto a truck, trailer, skip or bin.The hopper can also be emptied at any height that is lower thanthe maximum, due to the independent dumping control.

Mower decksIn order to meet the specific requirements of each operator, weoffer a wide range of mower decks which suit a wide variety ofoperating conditions.Cutting and collection decks are available in 112 cm, 126 cmand 130 cm.
