<strong>ARBA</strong> <strong>Convention</strong> Show Rules3225. Because of our concern for the national animal health, Mid-Atlantic Rabbit & Cavy Showsrecommends that all animals imported for the convention be in the United States for a minimumof thirty (30) days prior to the show dates.26. All animals must be permanently and legibly earmarked in the left ear. Cavies must haveeither a permanent earmark or an approved <strong>ARBA</strong> ear tag.27. Rabbit exhibitors are required to mark coop numbers in the right ear of all rabbits at thetime of check-in. All cavy exhibitors will be required to mark coop number on an adhesive tapeplaced on the right ear of all cavies prior to judging.28. The showroom hours are:• The showroom will be open Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 5:00 PM and will stayopen until 8:00 PMSaturday, October 19, 2013.• Sunday, October 20, 2013 – opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM.• Monday, October 21, 2013 – opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM.• Tuesday, October 22, 2013 – opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM.• Wednesday, October 23, 2013– opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 12:00 PM• No one except authorized personnel with after-hours credentials will be allowed inthe show room after closing.• The showroom is open to the public with no admission charge.During the Show29. All exhibitors are responsible for feeding, watering and the security of their own rabbits.30. All feeding and watering must be done during showroom hours.31. Wood shavings will be furnished by the <strong>Convention</strong> sponsor as bedding material in allcoops. Other bedding may be used, if desired, but must be furnished by the exhibitor.32. All exhibitors should clean their animals' coops regularly in order to maintain a sanitarycondition within the showroom.33. Exhibitors who sell animals must fill out a sales release form. The original goes to the purchaser,the second copy is kept by the seller. These forms will be available in the showroom.34. Only animals entered in the show, or donated for Research & Development, <strong>ARBA</strong> Judges'Conference, Youth Scholarship, or youth contests will be allowed in the building.35. No breeding of rabbits or cavies will be permitted without both owners present and theconsent of either the breed chairperson or secretary.36. No person, other than the show officials (official carriers and helpers) shall handle anyexhibit, other than his or her own, without the owner’s permission and presence.37. All travel carriers and other exhibitor property must be removed from the showroom andstored in the designated area. Aisles are to remain free of blockage. Mid-Atlantic Rabbit & CavyShows personnel will remove any item causing a traffic problem or a fire code violation to a safeplace. Mid-Atlantic Rabbit & Cavy Shows will not be responsible for any damage.Judging38. On Sunday, October 20, 2013, open judging will begin at 8:00 AM and youth judging willbegin at 9:00 AM.
