The Bill of Quantity as given shall be read in conjunction with: i) The TechnicalSpecification; and ii) The Drawings.2. Details of the item descriptions can be found in the related section of The TechnicalSpecification the references of which are shown in the left most column of the BoQ.3. Before entering rate for an individual item, the Contractor must go through the relatedpart(s) of The Technical Specification to understand the work and its scope, method ofmeasurement and basis of payment for the respective item.4. Quantities given in the BoQ are computed net from the Drawings. Unless directedotherwise in the Contract, no allowance shall be made for bulking, shrinkage, or wastage.Quantities are rounded up or down where appropriate.5. The quantities given in the Bill of Quantities are estimated and provisional, and are givento provide a common basis for Tendering.
