News from the CHAPLAINThe College has been blessed by thework of our chaplain, Mark Bryantand his passion for missions such asFiji. We would also like to take thisopportunity to acknowledge thevaluable support the College receivesfrom the National SchoolChaplaincy Program. Chaplaincyservices are funded by the AustralianGovernment Department of Education, Science andTraining. This week, we farewell the class of 2010. Carly,Kassandra, Alanah, Maddy, Brandon, Alana, Toni‐Anne,Julian, Taylor, Shari, Sheraya, Jessica, Tamara, Nicole,Chris and Sally have this significant chapter of their lifeclosed officially from Friday. However, the writing of thenew chapter has already begun. As they’ve studied, played, socialised, and interacted with their family, friends, and their community, they’ve caught glimpses ofwho they are as people, what they want to do with theirlife, and seeds planted that now are going to sprout andblossom. For some, further education is planned, othersare going straight into the work‐force. A move away fromhome may be included in their course of action. Theirdreams are big, and the world is their ‘oyster.’May I encourage them to think deeply about their life.May they remember that a fulfilling life is not the sumtotal of letters after their surname, their property andinvestment portfolio, or their bank account balance. Afulfilling life comes from a ‘Saving’ relationship with JesusChrist. Things and stuff – material possessions – cannever truly satisfy. Relationships will fail us. Looking toanything other than God to satisfy and fulfil us will onlyresult in an epic fail.I’m not trying to be heavy – far from it. I want each ofthese students to succeed in life. May they all becomemillionaires, own a small private island, and be masters intheir field. But I want them to remember the Creator ofwealth, property, land, title, and relationships. May theyexperience the fulfilment of life through a relationshipwith Jesus Christ, the forgiveness of sins, and use theirwealth, property, education, and talentsfor the glory of God onthis earth.Supporting you, withwarmest regards...Big M :)YOUTH GROUP ACTIVITIESHey Kids ….
