During this periodthe concrete must be kept moist in order to prevent premature drying out.SystemInformationApplication DetailsConsumption / Dosage Recommended dosage rate is between 0.8 % and 2.0 % by weight of binder (800–2.000 g for 100 kg binder). Exact dosage rates are dependent on quality of binderand aggregate, Water/Binder ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, it isadvisable to carry out trial mixes to establish the exact dosage rate required.ApplicationConditions/LimitationsCompatibilitySikament ® -R4 may be combined with the following Sika products among others-Sika ® Aer-SikaPump ®-SikaRapid ®-SikaFume ® HR-Sika Retarder ®-Sika ® Ferrogard ® -901-Plastocrete ® N-SikaFibre ®Trails are recommended before combining products.ApplicationInstructionsDispensingApplication Method /ToolsCleaning of ToolsSikament ® -R4 is added to the gauging water at the plant or added on site into theconcrete mixer. When added separately to the freshly mixed concrete, furthermixing should take place for at least 3 minutes. Before being discharged, theconcrete must be visually inspected for even consistency.The standard rules of good concreting practice, concerning production as well asplacing, are to be followed. Refer to relevant standards. Fresh concrete must becured properly.Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.Hardened / cured material can only be mechanically removed.2 2/3Sikament®-R4
