The program provides training inearly childhood development, family care, and youth developmentin order <strong>to</strong> help families become healthy, productive,and financially secure members of the community.The program has established a Family <strong>Development</strong>and Resource Center on the campus, and plans for expansioninclude an early childhood development center.The Agricultural Division at Fort Berthold Community<strong>College</strong> in New Town, North Dakota is implementingan Agricultural Marketing and Management Systemfor Beef Cattle and Bison. The marketing phasefocuses on the establishment of bison production andbeef feeder cooperatives with innovative marketingconcepts, while the management phase provides technicaland managerial oversight for feedlot operations.Although the colleges currently offer many courses related<strong>to</strong> agriculture and natural resource development, landgrantfunding will allow them <strong>to</strong> establish broader curriculain these areas.
