We make customised hydraulic cylinders inour six factories, and also offer a wide standard range ofhydraulic cylinders and components.In collaboration with our customers we develop,design and build complete hydraulic systems for allneeds. We specialise in advanced, unique systems thatcall for high precision or high operating pressures. Weassume responsibility all the way to a fully functionalsolution complete with control and regulating systems,including installation.We frequently deliver turnkey systems in which it isnatural to include a service and maintenance contract,to eliminate needless and expensive stoppages inproduction. We have well-trained personnel, and keepnecessary spare parts in stock.This photo, taken in the early forties, shows the interior ofour original factory in Vaggeryd in southern Sweden. Nowit is a part of the present-day PMC Cylinders.Container spreader – an example of a completehydraulic system utilising the latest technology.Cranes and stonecrushers were manufactured on these premises when the company started operationsin 1870 at Hällaryd in southern Sweden. The forge later became a highly successful producer of sawmillequipment. The site has now been extended and adapted for modoern production of cylinders withdiameters of up to 800 mm and strokes of up to 15 metres – the largest cylinders made anywhere inNorthern Europe.5

Offshore & MarineHydraulics for harsh environments

The sea is one of the toughest production environments on earth.
